Lets face it, often the worst part of a shopping trip is when you get to the till and have to pay. Well, on this occasion, getting to the till was definitely the worst part of the day’s shopping for Mrs M, but for a somewhat more unpleasant reason.

As Mrs M was walking towards the till she had been called to, she suddenly found herself slipping and falling. It was then that she discovered there was vomit on the floor. It transpired that a child had felt unwell and had been sick. Staff had been told but hadn’t closed the till line down.

We put Mrs M’s case to the store and they have admitted the accident was their fault. Mrs M will now be compensated for happened to her, and hopefully the store has learned a valuable lesson.
